Overview

Webpage to Markdown is a Chrome extension that converts the content of any web page into a clean Markdown file and saves it directly to an Obsidian vault. It supports single pages as well as bulk export across multiple open tabs.

What it does

• Converts web page content to well-structured Markdown
• Exports single pages or multiple tabs at once
• Saves files directly into a local Obsidian vault
• Strips away noise and keeps the relevant content

Motivation

Taking notes from the web into Obsidian was always a manual step. This extension removes that friction and makes it possible to capture and organize web content without leaving the browser.
